EVENT - MEETINGS WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

“Simply put, meetings are corporate events like summits, conferences and workshops built around carefully chosen communication, often organisational changes or strategy roll-outs, etc.

The objective is to spread key messages and engage the audience. Meetings are what we call two-waycommunication, whereas events are often examples of one-way communication. They are true live experiences; things like gala dinners, performances and concerts. Here our job is to leave an everlasting impression on the audience.

It’s our experience that meetings and events usually overlap, but regardless of the format, our way of working at Lundstrom is the same for both meetings and events. We always have a holistic approach in everything we do.”

OUR METHODOLOGY
MESSAGE IS KING

We produce meetings and events based on people, so that we always connect to the heart when designing a live communication experience - that is what really moves the mind. And at the core of it all is storytelling that reinforces values and key messages.

At corporate meetings, like management summits and conferences, the messages can be shared creatively with interesting speakers/presenters, with problem-solving workshops and with films that energize the audience. Do the unexpected and it will give results.

How do the participants feel when they leave the event? How did we appeal to their senses? Did the key messages make an impact that moved them? If so, then we’ve done our job.

IT'S ABOUT THE JOURNEY

We usually say that 80% of an event goes into research, concept, strategy and detailed planning; 10% goes to the actual event and the remaining 10% is for post-event follow-up.

Some of our customers like to be involved in the day-to-day planning process, however others leave the details to us. We like to work as a team – with our clients, their co-workers and suppliers to ensure we achieve the best result.

Preparation requires a structured plan and a coach who takes responsibility and guides the project management team all the way to event day. That attention to detail is crucial every step of the way. Only then can you achieve a live communication experience that will really transform your audience. So yes, the journey is as important as the destination.

Regardless of the process, clients can rest easy knowing they have chosen a cooperating partner that takes pride in the craft of event production and core communication.

A HOLISTIC APPROACH

We’ve been in the business since 2004 and our satisfied customers that keep coming back to us are proof that we deliver. Delivering means taking action and being accountable from the concept and design phase all the way until event execution.

We can manage a meeting or event and all the pieces of the puzzle that go into planning and execution, however certain clients may only be in need of specific competencies like event-day management, 3D technical design or technical production.

We have access to an extensive partner network, both locally in Sweden and abroad.
